How to Delete Your Data from ToMet

Welcome to ToMet (the “App”), provided by ToMet (collectively referred to as “ToMet”, “we”, “us”, "Service", or “our”). Before using this app, we encourage you to review our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. If you've already installed our app and wish to delete your data, you're in the right place. This guide will walk you through the process of deleting your information stored with us.

Data Collection and Deletion Overview

ToMet collects minimal personal information, which includes your name, gender, and age, when you register for an account. We respect your right to control your personal information, and if you'd like to delete your data from our servers, you can follow the instructions below.

Steps to Delete Your Data

1. Open the ToMet App

Start by opening the ToMet app on your device.

2. Navigate to Account Information

Go to your account settings by clicking on your profile icon or navigating to the “Account Information” section.

3. Access Settings

Once you're in the “Account Information” section, click on the “Settings” option.

4. Select 'Delete Data'

In the settings menu, you'll find an option labeled "Delete Data." Click this option to begin the data deletion process.

5. Choose Between Manual or Automatic Data Deletion

  • Manual Deletion:

    • When you choose the manual method, you will need to enter your User ID in the provided field.
    • After entering your User ID, click “Submit.”
    • This will generate an email to our moderation team, who will use your User ID to locate your data on our servers and delete it.
    • Please note: Manual deletion may take approximately 3 to 7 working days for our team to process and remove your data.

  • Automatic Deletion:

    • If you choose the automatic method, the system will retrieve your User ID automatically from the server.
    • Click “Delete Data” to delete your data instantly. Your data will be removed from our servers immediately.

Important Notes

  • No Authentication for Deletion: Both methods of data deletion do not provide authentication for successful deletion. Once you initiate the deletion process, we will take the necessary steps to remove your data from our system.
  • Time Frame: Manual deletion requests typically take 3 to 7 working days, while automatic deletions are processed instantly.
  • Data Retention: In some cases, we may retain certain data for legal, compliance, or security purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This may include retaining records of your consent for data deletion or any other necessary records for safety and legal reasons.
